World's Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae

We all love Ice Cream Sundaes, but did you know that there is an ice cream sundae that is so expensive?

The Ice Cream sundae that I am talking about is the sundae of Three Twins Ice Cream. It is worth $3, 333.33!

What makes it expensive? It is  served with three different syrups made from rare dessert wines namely a 1960s vintage port, a Chateau D'Yquem, and a German Trockenbeernauslese. It also presented to you with a spoon from the 1850s.

Well, you can say that the banana split sundae is too much, but 1/3 of the price will be donated to a local land trust. When you get to order one day ahead, a cellist will serenade you will eating. :)

Rainbow Colored Shaved Ice

Shaved Ice is a dessert made from shaving a block of ice. It is also called as Hawaiian Shave Ice and is always mixed up with another ice dessert, snowcone. Shaved Ice and Snow cones are different because snow cones are made from crushed ice. Basically, they differ in terms of ice texture.

This dessert is sweetened with different kinds of flavored syrups ranging from fruit flavors to creative flavors like bubblegum and cotton candy.

It is often served in a conical paper or a paper cup, and you have the freedom to choose what flavors you want in it.

You can put as many syrup as you want but the best way to create a rainbow inspired shaved ice treat is by adding, lime, blueberry, lemon, orange and cherry. It will look like this:

Shave ice is served with a straw, and not with a spoon for the flavors are directly on the ice, and not on the bottom of the cup. This dessert is very easy to do as long as you have the machine that creates shaved ice. Just buy different flavors of syrups to use for your shaved ice.

Have fun mixing different flavors of syrup on your shaved ice! Oh, by the way, the best way time to enjoy this dessert is when you want to feel cool on a warm day. :)

Turon Split in the Philippines

Mang Inasal is known to be a place for grilled chicken lovers in the Philippines, and having a dessert in their menu nowadays is really better than before for it's not only all about chicken and unlimited rice.

Mang Inasal already serves desserts at a cheap price, like the Filipino favorite Halo-Halo for P49.00, but what caught my attention was their new Turon Split which is only sold for P39.00. Very affordable right?

Filipinos are used to Turon which is a dessert made out of banana concealed in a lumpia wrapper, but what's the catch?

At a cheap price, you do not only get 2 pieces of turon which is so good even though it is just served in small sticks. Though small, it is stuffed with lots of banana. Not only that, you also get 3 flavors of Filipino flavored ice cream in it such as chocolate, cheese, and ube drizzled with chocolate syrup.

It's the Filipino version of the famous Banana Split served around the world!

If you want to try this dessert, the Turon Split is available in all Mang Inasal Branches in the Philippines.
